Space for collaboration
Progress My Office are excellent space planners and we have been doing this for a long time. We have found that most buildings these days have a high level of occupancy. Landlords are often keen to get as many people in the space as possible to maximise the return of money. This isn’t always best for your business. As a tenant, you must have some space for movement and collaboration rather than a workspace full of desks.
Room for growth
With your first ‘own’ office, the feasibility study will show how tight the client wants to make it but it’s important to have growth space and enjoyment. Your space should be comfortable and encourage productivity. Break out rooms and quiet spaces allow you to take time away from the busy working floor. Understanding your business’ needs before acquiring your workspace is necessary to achieve this.
